definately a bad idea on the street.if you want a posi get a clutch style like eaton or similar and it will allow you to safely make turns

I got one in my toyota but its not a daily driver and with the rear end locked up it is down right scary to drive in the rain.. Bad idea for sure..

I had a friend install and remove one once. NOT safe for a driver.

I ran one on the street in a lifted 4x4 it was okay, exept in the rain, or on tight u-turns, other than than that it would just drag one of the tires in th turns not bad, but if it was primarily a street driven truck I'd buy a posi, or one of the lockers the replace the spider gears. On the 67-72 chevy trucks if you add one extra shim be hind the spider gears it will act like a limited slipm I have done this many times.
