springs & spindles

Well just got my front & rear, springs & spindles in from CCP,took a while. Anyway been wondering how much the old 68s going to drag. The rears getting 5" springs with a 2" axle spacer and the front getting 3" drop springs and 3" dropped spindles. With gas shocks all 4 corners. The tires are 27" tall. Been buzy at work geting ready for a few days off for the holidays. Hopefully I can find time during the holidays to change them out. I guess you call it a 7/6 drop. Do you think its going to drag much ??????
Happy Holidays All !!!

Re: springs & spindles

Yep, it's going to scrape. It might not be too bad if you drive defensively. I know you'll need to re-route your exhaust up as high as possible.

Leave the front bump-stops in as they will help limit the suspension from bottoming too much & will keep the inner fenderwells off the tires on most bumps/dips.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: springs & spindles

yes you will drag the crude out of ur lcas i say just bag the frt because u wont make it over speed bumps for sure unno about turnin radius becasue 3 inch spindles and 2 inch springs dont mix with 8inch wide wheels
