Does this mean.....
this was a step side bed. I see that it had a side mounted wheel on the option sheet. It is currently a fleetside bed.

Re: Does this mean.....
P13 is the fleetside inside-the-bed side mounted spare. I have the same option on my 68.

Re: Does this mean.....
Yep, and the last 2 digits in the model number (34) indicate fleetside bed also.
Here is a page that you can decode VIN on and then lower down the page, model numbers too. http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/Chevyear.html That describes a VERY nice SWB big block/automatic Cheyenne super in green and white. All it really needs is buckets and a tach and it would be the typical truck lovers dream truck. Last edited by Longhorn Man; 01-02-2006 at 02:07 PM. |

Re: Does this mean.....
Let me second that on a "dream ride"! A similarly optioned frame off restoration sold for $22,000 the first day of a swap meet here. The owner may have had more into it, depending upon who did the restoration, but it was a quick sale and the highest I have seen in this area.

Re: Does this mean.....
Searching:the name of the game. It`s alot harder from the Wrong Coast. But,that`s what I do.I have a San Diego CheyenneSuper,a Modesto GrandeSierra,an Arizona CustomDeluxe(Highlander),and alot of California body parts to build my Shortbed.I think I,m in the wrong place.I caught this bug in CA in the 70s.I guess this is my way of hangin`on to the good times.
