parts question?

So let me get this straight. I have to be a subscriber just to post a want ad for parts in the classifieds forum. That sounds a bit too regulated. It makes sense for sellers because they are looking for monetary gain for themselves.

Just curious about this?

Re: parts question?

Yes. Think of the for sale forums as a newspaper classifieds. You have to pay to sale or even if you are looking for something, right? Josh spent over $4,000 for this server. He's just trying to get some of that back without making the whole site a pay for site like some of the others.

Not one that would work evidently.

BTW the Subscription fee was to try to help cut down on the dishonest guys jumping on the board to sell something (with no intentions of honoring the deal) and disappearring. We had a rash of bad deals at one time and since we have instituted this that seems to have slowed way down.

Re: parts question?

Well thanks for the clarification guys. I totally agree with people who sell to pay, to cut down on scamming shysters.

I guess my karma kicked in the other day, since I needed some parts for my truck. I found a complete truck, '68 GMC 2500 V-6 4x4, 30 miles from my home. Problem solved!

Good job editing Mudder67.
I guess next time I need a blinker lens I will buck up.
