Question 67-68 Buddy Buckets Seat/Console

Anyone have pictures and/or the dimensions for the console buddy seat that go with a set of 67-68 bucket seats? I've got the seats without the center console and I'm thinking I'll have to mock up my own. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Do you have the seats & the frame work? Have you tried to find just a box and the center cushions? I sold one on the parts board last year and may have another.

Re: 67-68 Buddy Buckets Seat/Console

I've got the seats and frame but the old guy I bought them from didn't have the buddy seat/console. I've been lookin' all over for just the center and, with no luck, figured I'd have to fab my own.

How's Olympia these days? I lived in Washington for years and hope to move back soon. I've got a brother in Silverdale, parents in Coulee Dam, and my wife is from Wenatchee!

Re: 67-68 Buddy Buckets Seat/Console

The measurements for the box ( inside measurements) are front to back 16 3/4, width 12 3/4, there is a 1/4 lip at the top of the box. The pad for the lower seat cushion is a 1/2 inch larger in diameter than the box lip all the way around. The upper cushion/ arm rest measures f to b 14" width is 14 1/4. If this is as clear as mud, PM me and I'll fax you a drawing. Good Luck, post it when you get it finished!

Re: 67-68 Buddy Buckets Seat/Console

I DO have a center box and seat cushions. Notice the unique hinge built in the box to let the seat back move up & down in the correct location. The cushions are intact enough to be good patterns, but you will want to cut new pieces of plywood and maybe foam. PM/email me for details: frankeham@comcast.net.
