Late but worth the wait
My hooker super comps just got here from Jethot. They were supposed to be here 2 weeks ago but after seeing them I forgot all about that. The finish looks great and you cant beat the warranty.

Now you need a set of these.
http://www.headerbuddy.com/headerbuddy.html They are ball flange collector mounts. They sponsor the stovebolt page.

Re: Late but worth the wait
Those are fun to install if the motors already in. Make sure the truck is as high in the air as you can get it as those headers are really long.

Re: Late but worth the wait
I had a heck of a time getting my Comps in the 67 w/BBC. I had to jack the truck way up as well as the motor about 4-5" to get mine in. They fit like a tight fitting glove once in, but cursing always helps me to convince parts to fit.

Re: Late but worth the wait
That's small block headers there...they go in easy.... few hrs tops.
Look sweet... what did it set you back if I may ask... inside and out, or just outside? |

Re: Late but worth the wait
I bought a set of headers for my 292 6 cylinder from JetHot and they had a small hole in one of the welds. They were easy to deal with on warranty issues and did a great job. Chris

Re: Late but worth the wait
The headers are coated twice inside and twice outside. They have a lifetime corrosion warranty and 3 year replacement on tarnishing. They were $579 plus s/h. This is how the truck is sittin right now so it shouln't be a problem to install them.

Re: Late but worth the wait
Jet Hot must have went up in price since last year. Got mine done for $275.00, but I sent them my Hedmans to be done. They do fantastic work. Have had them on now over a year, and still look new. You'll be happy when you get yours in. Just a note. After you install them, wipe them down with window cleaner before you start your engine. A few people have said that new coating like this will burn your finger prints onto the coating the 1st time you start the engine. Don't know how ture that is, but worth the cleaning 1st.
