350 Turbo Question
There is a electrical plug in the side of my transmission (70 C-10) what is that? I've got (4) 350 Turbos and none of them have this, (I don't think).
Thanks |

If it is the original transmission than it has to be the sensor for the TCS system. It would signal the solonoid when the transmission was in high gear to allow the vacuum to operate the vacuum advance on the distributor. The vacuum advance on the distributor would only operate with the transmission in high and the engine temperature up to normal.

I agree with Jim if it is an original trans . I think if it is a 350c it says "metric" on the pan.
