Photos NOW!!! two 72 SWB that have been rolled+ ?

Located two 72 SWB trucks that have been rolled so th cabs are toast. What are the chances that the frames are still in good shape?

thinking about buying them as i can make use of at least one bed and quite possible the other one with a repair or replaced sidepanel.

The Purchase would also cover the following trucks:

69 3/4 ton frame with bed/ no title.
72 LWB with engien and transmission not running
72 Chyenne no engien or tranny no title.
71 Chyenne no engine or tranny no title.
68 SWB wrecked and rusty.

All above for 1600.00

Loads of parts many useable too...JK

value to me will be SWB frames and the 72 LWB along with the many parts such as auto columns, power brakes set ups, five lug swap setups,

Just worreid about the rolled trucks and bent frames.

Re: Found two 72 SWB that have been rolled?

in my opinion fairly good chance the frames are okay. kinda depends on how hard they were rolled. if just over once onto the the top, they are probely ok.

sounds like like a hell of a deal. Hard to tell on the frames. chances are one or both are in good shape just guessing.

Sounds like a gold mine............jump on it! Single roll shouldn't hurt the frame assuming nothing hit them to cause them to roll.

Right now nothing is for sale as I dont have any of the parts in my possession but that might change. I'll start to move trucks this weekend and really take inventory on what I am getting.

I am actually worried I am wastin my money on these trucks and need to get my either of my 69's going with the cash. I do need to join and pay membership soon because If and when I pull the trigger on this, Ill have to get my investment back.

That plus thinking about a body swap to make a 3/4 ton out of one of my trucks. Use it for pulling and towing. Retire my 91 F150 and pull with a classic?

Where do I go to make my donation again?

Thomas

Re: Found two 72 SWB that have been rolled?

I got red Xs.Unless they`re pretty nice, with no titles just parts,I think you`re saving the guy hauling money by taking them.I`d pay $1600 for the load of parts of the trucks,I guess. To me,hauling off someones collection of junk trucks is a service to them and you have alot of work to put into making those parts money.Doesn`t sound like you`re getting anything rare and the shortbeds are damaged and questionable. My $.02
