Question need some ideas

im building a 350 mild engine and running the old camel back head with no accessory holes, headers, and a short water pump, no power steering pump. so i am wondering what alt bracket should i use i ran these heads for a while on a previous engine and i bought a bracket deal from autozone that bolted to the two front header bolts (on the driver side) but i broke like 3 of them goin down the road, so i was wondering if there were any other bracket i might use so i dont have this prob again any help would be appreciated thanks

Re: need some ideas

got mine from Jegs in Columbus Ohio it is a march kit was kinda pricy 137 and tax what you do is order the reg alt bracket assembly for the pre drilled heads and then you have to order the second lower bracket seperately to make it work with your non drilled heads they just came out with this in June 05 may even sell the kit together at this point it looks pretty sweet I reg turn 7000 with my 327 not one time has the belt slipped or flown off hope this helps Mike

Re: need some ideas

got the pwr steering bracket soon after as it looked kinda out of place with black oem brakets on the pump cobbled together to make the pwr steering functional on one side and nice polished alum brackets holding the alt on the other side works really well and got it off ebay for cheeep keep us posted Mike
