need help lowering

well so far ive just cut my coils in the front and installed some blocks in the back. I had planned on putting in airbags and just using my stock spindles but after some consideration and some people telling it wont get me all that low, what is my best route for drop spindles? the truck still has drums up front and I want to maintain the 6 lugs if i can

Re: need help lowering

It's never a good Idea to cut coils. Lowering springs are cheep enough. I used 2-1/2" drop spindals in the front and drop springs in the rear. When I strarted customizing my truck about 9 years ago there wasn't nearly the as much stuff available as there is today. I would upgrade to front disc brakes and there are a voritity of venders out there now that carry all of these parts.

so far as I know, there isn't a drum brake drop spindle. if you want, you can still 'bag the front with drum brakes. then later, you can upgrade to drop spindles. besides, bags will give you adjustability to go over speedbumps/steep driveways and better ride quality than cut coils.
