Give me the letters and numbers from the registered and I might be able to tell you where it was.

Re: Help!! I Need To Contact Mrwilson Asap

I have seen several times on here where an individual does not get parts or does not get them in a timely fashion. Many times these are across the border but not always. And many times the parties get heated on here at an early stage in the deal.
This is an excellent example of a mistake made by the shipper and the parties getting together ASAP to get it resolved.
I notice that Mr. Wilson has a low post count and sometimes that means new members and hesitance.
I would encourage all members to check a members post count for longevity, reputation on here, and always ask questions.
This is a shining example of the type of person that bisquik65 is and true compliment to the board and its members.
Way to handle this guys.

In my wifes work, she mails local and international. She has commented many times how letters will make across the water before one will make across town. No joke, it once took 5 weeks to go 30 miles to the next county. Post marks indicated several states!

Yes it was just a misunderstanding...

And The post office should not have done that anyway...What if that was a truck payment...Then they would have come towed the truck away..

Glad it worked out the way it did

Its not the 1st time the U.S.P.S. screwed up....won't be the last..

Yeah but its a REGESTERED. Everyone that has had that letter HAD to sign for it.
From USPS.com

When you’re sending valuable or irreplaceable items through the mail, protect them with Registered Mail™.

Items you send with Registered Mail are placed under tight security from the point of mailing to the point of delivery, and insured up to $25,000 against loss or damage. And you can verify the date and time of delivery and the delivery attempts online. Registered Mail to Canada is subject to a $1,000 indemnity limit. To all other foreign countries, the indemnity limit is currently $40.45.

Registered Mail must be presented to a retail employee at a Post Office or to a rural carrier

Those are taken very serously.

By shipper, I meant shipping company, in this case USPS. That is why I praised the parties for working this out.
