Just out of paint shop
Finally got my 72 out of the paint shop. It has been a long road, after doing most of the sanding/welding and removal myself. Then my first painter got arrested or actually "deported" just after the bed was complete, had to pick up all the parts and bring it back home. Finally got it to another painter to complete the job.

Re: Just out of paint shop
Lookin pretty good. So what are those holes in front of the rear wheel wells. Is that hose coming out of the gas can in the bed your temoparyfuel system. If it is, thats a pretty neat idea.

Re: Just out of paint shop
The holes on the side look like exhaust pipe holes, their are tips that are manufactured to peep out of those holes, and bolt into the body, but it looks like he has pipes already... Thats sweet! What are your plans for her?

Re: Just out of paint shop
Ha! Yeah, I removed the rear seat tank and havent yet put in the blazer tank so that is my temporary tank till I put it in. The holes in the side are for the exhaust, got the idea from "Trucks", I have some wide oval Stainless Steel tips that will protrude through them slightly. I will probably keep the rally wheels and sand blast them and re-paint.
Hey, "MOCWON"....reading one of your earlier post, I read that you were going to enter your truck in the car show they just had in Austin. I wanted to go and come see your truck but I was actually putting on the bed of mine from the paint show that weekend. So how did you do? |

Re: Just out of paint shop
I was just planning on putting on a pin stripe to break up the black and yellow, but im not sure if I want it to go up over the fenders or not? Im not going to put alot of chrome on it besides new front & rear bumpers. I would like to get a new front outer grill but they are pretty expensive...I might try painting it instead. I will start getting it back togeather and then take a look. Thanks for all the comments.
