Best way(Cheapest) to ship a grille
Hey guys sold my grille and trying to find a better way then FedEx and UPS. I know that USPS won't ship anything this big.
Unless anybody is going from Nashville to NC anytime soon!

Call DHL, I have yet to be disapointed by them, I just drop stuff off there, and they send me a bill in the mail every month. Nothing ever lost, everything done with the cheapness...
Totally satisfied. |

What Andy said. DHL has been real good to me and is always way cheaper than the other folks.

Greyhound Package Express. You take the package to the bus station. The recipient picks it up at his/her nearest station. Cheaper than any other for large items in my experience. http://www.shipgreyhound.com/

Re: Best way(Cheapest) to ship a grille
Every shipper (DHL, FedEx, UPS, USPS) has a max size (length + girth) for packages. Anything over that gets a nice surcharge. I think it is 118-120" or something like that.
I tried shipping a 2000 GMC truck grille and the cheapest I could find was $75 or so due to the size of the packaging. |

Re: Best way(Cheapest) to ship a grille
I just shipped one of my NOS grills that I sold on ebay. I boxed it up and when I was done, it measured 78"x22"x8" and weighed 23 lbs. I took it into DHL and the kid behind the counter said $13.68. I said, what if I want to insure this for $500 (it sold for $425)? He said $16.36. I quickly paid and got the heck out of there in a hurry.
