There are no stupid questions right ???

I am putting a 68 front clip on my 72 2wd Blazer, other than the obvious
changing of the Grill, Fenders, Hood, and Rad support, what else will I be
required to have? Will a 67-70 bumper just mount up to my 72 brackets?
What year Rad support bushings do I need to get? I assume the cowl is
the same, and the hood hinges, but what else am I forgeting about?

The 67-70 bumper is the same except for there are not turn singals in it. The rad support mounts are the same. A long with the hood hinges. The 67-72 are mostly interchangeable.

Re: There are no stupid questions right ???

You'll need 67-70 outer bumper brackets. They're shorter.

You'll need 67-68 radiator support bushings. They're thinner.

Re: There are no stupid questions right ???

me and yellow69 traded outer bumper brackets when he went to a 71-72 style which i had and i got his older style for my 67-70 bumper.

the 71-72's are longer or something to avoid contact with the lights in the bumper. i don't think 4X4 versions will work.

Do you want more? You`ll need to change the headlights. The 67/68s have three prongs on the right and 3 prongs on the left. The 68-72s have 3 prongs on the left and three prongs on the right.

Re: There are no stupid questions right ???

matthufham beat me to it. You will have to grab the outer bumper brackets. Are you doing this swap before Maggie Valley or at it?

Still don't know yet, depends on funds, We have enough people to do this
in the parking lot of a hotel, but I still don't know if I am bringing either of
the rigs, the 68 nose pieces I am buying are at the MV show from Bisquik,
I want to be sure if the 2wd comes w/ me I have all of the parts to do it.
