Blazer with a 67/8 front end?
Hey guys. I am a newbie to the site. I don't have a blazer, but know where one is setting that needs a front cap that I might be able to buy. I am building a 67 and 68 truck and have a spare 67 front cap that is nearly perfect. Will this bolt right on if I use the 67 radiator support? I've seen a few 69-72 trucks with a 67/8 front and just assume that will work, but never seen a blazer with the older front. I am partial to the 67/8 front end, would that offend die-hard blazer fans?

Re: Blazer with a 67/8 front end?
It is purely a bolt-in affair (as long as you do use that Rad support). I think it would look sweet, don't worry about "offending" anyone. If anything it would be a little different than the norm.

Re: Blazer with a 67/8 front end?
This is one of the most common changes to 2wd Blazers. I've seen more 2wd's with 67-68 front ends than I have oem... The 67-68 grill and sloped hood is a piece of art...

Re: Blazer with a 67/8 front end?
The white and red one that Roger posted is actually a Jimmy I'm pretty sure. I have seen it on ebay (if it's the same one). Dont know if it sold though. A very nice truck. Looks good with the Chevy front sheetmetal.

Re: Blazer with a 67/8 front end?
It is a common modification on 2wd Blazers, but I've only seen a few 4wd's with the swap. Personally, I like the look on the 2wds, but it isn't my favorite mod on a 4wd.

Re: Blazer with a 67/8 front end?
Thanks guys. I knew I would get some good pictures if there were many out there. These pics make me want to build a 2wd as well some day. That 67/8 front sure looks good low.

from a good board member a few months back to go get a 2wd, I've always wanted a 2wd, even though my 4wd is pretty nice, but I did not think the 4wd would look as good w/ the 68 clip, pic's in sig link.
