Bench seat console??? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I just received an original center console form a board member. It had not realized how big these things are. Needless to say it does not fit between the seat and the dash on the trans hump. And placing it on the seat seems well out of place, it's just too big.

So My question is what consoles are being used in conjunction with a bench seats? I would love to have a center armrest console on the seat. However one that just gave me extra storage on the trans hump would be just fine.

Suggestions, thoughts, pictures?

I went with buckets to get me the center arm rest/cupholder/storage thing...

what color is it? Does it have seat belt holes or cup holes?

I've not found anything like I'd like, so I'm planning to make one..........someday.

I'd like it to be on the floor in front of the bench. Add that to a flip-down style like above and you've got yourself lots of storage for stuff. Can you say seven cup holders?
