Cheyenne Super swb stepside

I saw this over on the bay and thought it was "interesting". I personaly have not ever seen a stepside Cheyenne Super. I know there was a big discussion on here a while back about the Cheyenne Super option and its combinations. It just seems like most real supers out there are long bed fleetsides. The build sheet says Cheyenne Super but it also stated parchment trim that I didn't see anywhere. It's not my truck and I don't know the seller I just thought I would share what I had found. If this has already been posted elsewhere, sorry for the double post.

Re: Cheyenne Super swb stepside

Could this be the TOW HOOK version of a STEPSIDE?

Re: Cheyenne Super swb stepside

it all looks right to me, the only question mark I see is the A/C. They say aftermarket A/c becouse it isn't on the SPID lebel/option sheet, however, everything else looks dead on to me.

It doesn't have a cargo light that a Cheyenne should have.

What do you think it cost him to list that with that many pics?

Re: Cheyenne Super swb stepside

I need more pics.j/k It`s a nice California Stepside.Yup,CheyenneSuper Stepsides were made. They didn`t get the side mouldings that the Fleetsides got,N/A on Stepsides, period. It`s not an all original survivor by any means. It`s a shame the owner put Kmart mirrors on when it woulda had sport mirrors originally. It`s been painted and interior changed-out or recolored,no woodgrain or chrome on the door panels.Things could be put together a bit,but if the VIN# matches up on the body, frame, and Glovebox,it`s the real thang.

I didn't understand the statement about the a/c either. On his option sheet on the right side the second line from the top it states "4-season air cond". I thought that is how it was listed if you had factory air. I really don't know as neither of my trucks came with factory a/c.

I wasn't able to make that out...good eye there.
I had missed the cargo light issue, it should in fact be there.I do find the statement of rare side mounted spare.

Re: Cheyenne Super swb stepside

I know that CheyenneSupers were available in Stepsides and cab`n`chassis. The Stepsides were side trim delete. It`s pretty obvious the seller, who didn`t own it,doesn`t know much about it.

I like the smaller tail lights you have on that rick, looks better than the huge things they came with.

Re: Cheyenne Super swb stepside

Factory literature says nothing about no cargo light... but it does state the trim missing from the body.
