I don't mean to hijack this thread just add to it. Here is what i built at work, they are out of a i know i know its a ford but I took the lights out of turn signal mirror from and expedition and right now they are just tied in with the brake lights. When i get closer to being done with the truck i will wire them to just the turn signals. They do light up red and I may get clear lens but not sure yet. if anyone is interested in how it looks with out the lens let me know and I can post pics of that too.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |

OK pictures of them in the day time. Sorry it took so long but the thing has been in the shop having all new brakes and other things replaced.
