FS: OEM Tailgate w/Cheyenne wood trim - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Picked this up while I am out here in California this week. Won't fit in my suitcase, though

Was thinking of shipping it home and removing the fancy trim, since I don't need it for my trucks, then selling the trim. But then I would have to fill the screw holes (I didn't realize they were screwed in when I saw the pic before buying it.) So I thought I would offer the whole thing here first and see if anyone needs one.

The main blemishes are a couple of dents on either of the top edges. Can't really see any bowing on the bottom. The inside has been undercoated, so it is almost perfect and the outside paint is also almost perfect too. Forgot to mention - the off color areas on the outside top corners is just glue from some tape, I think. If your truck is this color blue, it would be usable right away. And one of the first ones that I have seen with no rust along the bottom edge.

I had thought about that, but luckily I was able to request a minivan this trip, so have been hauling it around in the van. Will ship it home tomorrow unless someone wants it. I brought it and the box into the room about 5am this morning so that I would not get too many stares.

Hi, Nice tailgate. I see that you mentioned that you may sell the woodgrain trim separate from the gate. It looks like it's in real good shape. How much for it with shipping to 55060.

DHL just delivered it to my house. Looks like it made the trip from CA okay. Will leave it in the box for a while in case someone decides they need it.

ttt BTW - the second picture is trying to show a small dent in the top inside of the gate. Normal one you would see if someone dropped something, but just caught the inside of the top edge, not the outside. I know it looks like a bend in the gate, but that is unfortunately just the angle of the camera.
