Wheel Studs & rims
Do I need to install longer wheel studs on my 72 LWB 1/2 if I install american racing Torque Thrusts, or Cragar SS? Also what is the backspacing needed to run on the truck for a 15x8 rim. I'll be running either 255/70/15 up front and 285/70/15 on the rear or 275/60/15 all around on a stock height truck.

Re: Wheel Studs & rims
my 265x70x15's are on the truck corvette ralley wheels 15x8 and they have 4" backspacing. I did add 1.5" spacers on the rear to even out with the front.

Re: Wheel Studs & rims
I PUT A SET OF 315 TRUCK RADIAL TAs ON 10 INCH WIDE CRAGERS WITH 4" BACKSPACING. THEY CLEARED BY ABOUT 1" & NO LONGER STUDS WERE NESSISARY. IF YOU USE SPACERS OR ANYTHING ELSE BETWEEN THE RIM & THE HUB YOUR ON YOUR OWN, AS I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS PRACTICE. JOHN
