Re: Chevy motorhomes

The ones with the standard truck cab (or a van 1/2 cab) and chassis are Class "C". Class A is like the Winnebago with custom box built on a frame. Class B is van conversion with a plasitc top but it retains all of the lower van body.

Re: Chevy motorhomes

That's my understanding. Class C's were popular in the 60's, and now they are making a bit of a comeback, but this time they are using medium duty trucks. I have seen some nice ones built on Chevy Kodiak trucks.

Re: Chevy motorhomes

Awww, you guys got it backwards, Class A is full motorhome like a Winnebago, Class B is the pick-up style, and Class C is the van conversion type.

Re: Chevy motorhomes

Well,in that case when it`s frame-mounted with a 67/72-style cab it`s a Class "E" as in Classy.

Re: Chevy motorhomes

TTT

I would like to know firmer answer. I wonder if they were marked? Then someone on here who has one could verify. It wouldn't matter if I was standing in front of one just curious when you see ads for them in Hemmings, etc.
