lowering 67'... HELP PLEASE

im going to be doing some light hauling and moving the gas tank to the rear, so i am wanting to go with a 3" coil in the front, and 4" coil in the rear.. how low can these trucks go w/o needing to relocate the shocks and needing a new crossmember, also anyone have feedback on the "heavy duty" rear coils from classic performance products, thats where i've priced everything through.. give me some feedback fella's

Re: lowering 67'... HELP PLEASE

Cant answer your ? on the tank, but I have a 6 inch rear spring drop and haul a 400ex 4 wheeler and had it loaded down with some scrap a few weeks ago, and yes it did bottom out once when I went over a RR tracks too fast, but its not like it rides on the frame. Relocating your shocks is a preference just helps it ride a little better. 4 inch should be no problem at all. what are u planning on hauling and what tank do you plan on using?

Checkout www.earlyclassic.com
they recommend rear shock relocators for pretty much any rear coil drop.
Also, you'll need an adjustable panhard bar

you should not need a rear crossmember with a rear spring drop.
