5 inch tach
I was wondering if any one has pictures of their truck with a five inch tach. I bought a monster tach thinking that it was going to fit on the column but found out it does not fit well. I was wondering if there was any one that has installed a tach any where else in their truck.

Re: 5 inch tach
Previous owner did this. I could not drill holes thru the dash pad but since its there i really like it. Thinking about mounting a Auto meter there since the holes are already there.

Re: 5 inch tach
Hey, thanks. I bought an autometer tach. I put it in the same place just to see how it looks, and it seems to fit nice.

Re: 5 inch tach
I have mine in basically the same place. I made a bracket that passes through the upper dash where the defrost vent is. That way I didn't have to cut or drill into the dash. Most people don't like it on the dash because it's so big. I was going for a "Drag Look" with this truck so I think it works ok.
