Nor Cal Drags

there's going to be some "street legal drags" as they call them, in Redding, CA the 28th of this month. only 15 bucks to race, 5 bucks per carload to watch, from 5pm until midnight. i'm going and bigjimzlll is going. he's going to race i'm not sure if i am going to or not (i need a catch can, see other post)
anyone else in the area interested? i went to one of these not that long ago and it wasnt import city, it was mostly hot rods. a lot of fun for 5 bucks.

if you're planning to race, go at 5 and you'll get a lot of runs in.

you're never too old to race, look at warren johnson (nhra pro stock) he's pretty dang old, and i wanna say eddie griffin, he used to be a top fuel driver not that long ago, yellow car, he looked older than dirt.

what kind of carb are you trying? is it a holley? they're better for the track than edelbrock (in some people's opinions)

mine runs tons better with intake gaskets that are new and don't leak! my motor could prolly use a bigger carb but maybe some day i'll get edelbrock EFI.

i'll prolly just go and see if i pass tech or not, if i don't oh well. i dont have time to work on it this week.

do u think getting my tires rotated and balanced would be a good idea before i go?

what's the deal with the waterbox? i know that you're supposed to go around it if you have street tires. last time i went i saw no one go around it or not have water put down. everyone did a burnout (or at least tried to). i dont wanna burn up my street tires.
