I have a '92 Chevy 60/40 seat to install in my Burb. What are you guys using as a spacer for the inside passenger side bracket?? If nothing else, I can get a couple pieces of 1/2" SS tubing to use as spacers and I have a few seat and/or seatbelt washers for underneath the floorboard.

I used a plumbing fixture a 3/4" to 1/2" pipe fitting, then as necessary used a few washer to get the exact adjustment.

Did you use the the rear mounting seat holes in your truck, I figured I was going to use those, or did you drill 8 new holes???

You can check my website in my signature, interrior section on what I did, but no I used the front holes as a guide for the outer front, then I drilled the rear holes and inner holes. I don't remember, but if you mount the drivers side flat on the floor, I don't thing it will slide back enough to use the rear holes. I could be wrong, but I believe that is why I initially chose the fron holes. Plus I like the seating position better that way.

Thanks for the info. Your webpage is pretty good. How is Gulfport?? Did you make it thru Katrina?? I spent about six months in Biloxi at Keesler AFB in the early nineties when I was still in the service. Great time. Oh yeah, I am sure you know Brett Favre is from there.

I used two pieces of angle steel bolted together. I also used six flat washers under the rear of the outer seat bracket. I used the outer front holes as a starting point and drilled the reso of the holes and put fender washers under the floor for support.

Lot of things are different since the old hag landed last Aug. I have been out at Keesler (this time) since the mid 80s. Around the base and parts of Biloxi you would not know this place was ravage by a major hurricane. Folks have built back fast. Certain areas, and the further west you get it gest much worse. You hit the next town past me and it goes down hill fast.

Not too much left of Brett's home town, course there wasn't a lot there to begin with.
