Need leaf spring help!!!

I just ordered 4 inch drop rear leaf springs from ECE. My problem is I don't know how to tell the front from the back. There is a clip thing on one side of the leaf pack and I don't know whether it heads toward the front or the back of the truck. I called ECE and they didn't know for sure which way they go. I don't want to put the springs on backward and I need as much traction as I can get. The springs didn't come with any directions and they didn't even come in a box. By the time I got them they barely had any paint left on them after shipping. So they look like crap and I don't know which way they mount. I'm getting very frustrated. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Need leaf spring help!!!

Spring eye bolt should be off center of spring--short end to front.

Sorry, I should have read it closer..
I just measured mine, they are 28" from the senter pin to the front eye, and about 24 to the back. My wheelbase is correct at 115"

Sory for the whack reply earlier.
Hope it helps.
