Re: I Need Help!!!!

welcome to the world of high pro parts
different headers...shortys..stock manifolds. i have had the same problem before and that stupid pipe would not move out of the way. no matter how long i waited...
thats just one of the problems with after market heads...wait till the brackets don't line up. then the elongating holes begins..washers..o boy...

my 85 with canfiled heads i burned up 5 spark plug boots the first 10 min of running...did not even get it broken in yet
may the force be with you..mark

Re: I Need Help!!!!

I believe Accel makes header plugs, probably others make them as well. Shorter than most plugs. I seen them at Checkers before.

Re: I Need Help!!!!

You can fix that problem with a call to hooker headers...........and a check for between $450 and $500. Don't ask me how I know.

Re: I Need Help!!!!

I think they make a plate the bolts on that spaces the header out like 1/2" to an 1" which gains clearance, but then they may not fit into the frame rails?
