Re: Anyone running 18" front/ 20" rear?
there is a "wheel/tire" thread stuck in the top five or six posts on this page. popular topics like this are often found stuck in the forums.
here is a direct link: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=143835 there are several combos to be found in there. enjoy

none of them are 18 and 20s. Most are all 17s or all 20s. I tried looking for him but couldnt find one.

Re: Anyone running 18" front/ 20" rear?
i swore i just saw a thread recently that had 18/20 combos in it. :\
there are some links *inside* the wheel and tire thread that linked into other wheel/tire threads that people found. are you sure there isn't something in one of those?

Re: Anyone running 18" front/ 20" rear?
Thanks Shifty. I have seen the sticky and all the related links and have done extensive searching, and seen many pics for good ideas. Just tryin to wrap my head around what an 18/20 combo would look like.
Hard to search for a post with 18 or 20 in it as the search engine filters them out as 'too short'. So, I decided to start a thread and ask directly. Thanks again -Chris

Re: Anyone running 18" front/ 20" rear?
The blue one and the blazer use to live down the street from me.... They are the same wheels.. so who ever owns the blue one now might be able to tell you the size.. I know the rear end was from a 69 Camaro to allow that deep of a lip

Re: Anyone running 18" front/ 20" rear?
18's up front just look to small with those thin tires. I am not a bling rim guy, but I like to see a wheel well properly filled. 20's are the biggest I would ever put on anything.

Re: Anyone running 18" front/ 20" rear?
That's why I am so impressed with Danny's truck. He put a relitively large sidewall tire on his wheels and I think it looks awesome.

It will be set up for parallel leaf springs and will not have a panhard bar mount on it. you will need to cut the leaf mounts off and weld on an angled set of mounts for your trailing arms. If its going to be very low I assume you will be using some sort of track bar and the panhard mount will not be much of an issue. |
