Re: Our trucks featured on TV programs?

Trucks! did a complete build up of a 67 from the frame up using an original cab and ALL aftermarket parts. It was called "project copperhead" and it's a beautiful truck. I think it's been featured in Classic Trucks. Google Copperhead and Trucks!

As far as "everyday" TV shows.... I can't recall seeing any other than watching Dukes of Hazzard reruns

Man that show turned out to be a bummer.
All they can do is shout at each other, and you hardly see any real building going on.
And those deadlines are a nightmare.
We in Europe are at the first series now, currently they are building the '42 Woody.
I guess Charlie the painter will leave after the build of this Woody?
I have downloaded a few episodes of Overhaulin' (a show not available in Europe) and saw quite a few familiar faces.
Now that's a much cooler show to watch.

Sorry about for going a bit off topic with this AWEGS72

I believe in the 'Gilmore Girls' one is driving a 71 or 72

Re: Our trucks featured on TV programs?

There's the Rocky and Bullwinkle movie, and there is a picture of a GMC at the very beginning of Gone in 60 Seconds(easy to miss). I also seen a purple and silver 'burb on one of those tattoo shows, it was pretty sweet lookin.

That show pretty much does suck. It's just a bunch of drama between all the guys and half of it is Duane walking around yelling. They're worse than a bunch of women.

I don't think I would let them do any work on any project I might have. They are always rushing and cutting corners. I question how that works after some time goes by.

Re: Our trucks featured on TV programs?

Don't know of any other build ups, but there's a '69+ (I'd have to watch again) GMC in Sweet Home Alabama. 4WD LWB. It is one awesome truck. I wouldn't do anything too it if it were mine 'cept the stuff to make it a better driver. Looks like it should IMO.

Re: Our trucks featured on TV programs?

Gabe Lopez, the guy who does the upholstery work for Boyd Coddington owns the truck, it was outside his shop when it was shown on the show...
http://www.classictrucksweb.com/feat...l_0311_67chev/

In the old movie "The Goonies" it started out with a 4x4 race on the beach front and I picked out 2 or 3 1st gen Blazer/Jimmy's (when you have a 9 year old son you watch alot of movies like that...)

And how would YOU know it was on the fan club site????

Dukes of Hazzard: First season-brown 69-70 3/4 ton 2wd. Second season: 67-68 Chevy 1/2 ton 2wd. Other than that, Cooter either had a 69-72 Chevy or GMC wrecker. (as far as GM stuff goes) Kinda sad I know what old Chevy trucks are in the Dukes episodes.

Re: Our trucks featured on TV programs?

Scrolling through shows to watch yesterday, saw B*tchin' Rides was doing a 72 br*nco. went on past, not to interested, then just happened to look and they were doing a 72 Blazer....not a br*nco.... finished watching . They "sold" it for $75K . Sure was nice ,then a later show they( Dave and Kevin) were in Reno @ Hot August Nites and in the background of the segment while looking @ Bigfoot was a Really Nice Green 69-72 Blazer with soft top.
