Question axle tag ?

I was out scraping years of crud off the rear diff and found this tag bolted to the cover. I also found that shock mounts have been relocated. Can anyone tell me what the numbers refer to.

It reads.

603717 12 L S

looks like 4.10 gears, 12 bolt, limited slip......not sure on the rest of the numbers......they all had these tags from the factory, but alot of times when the cover is pulled, they get discarded or forgotten for whatever reason.
