gas gauge probs
i've tried everything i can think of and i'm about to give up on having a working gas gauge unless someone has another idea...i've put 2 new different sending units ina nd one is known to be good cause ibought it from a board member...i've hooked it to another cluster i have to see if it was the gauge itself...i've run a new wire from the sender to the gauge to see if it was in the wire...i checked the fuse and connections in the fuse box...it still doesnt work...it sits at a little more than 3/4 while it used to sit at about 1/4 of a tank...i have no idea...my next step would be to buy all new (not used parts) but i cant afford that now...thanks for any help...-Nick

There are lots of post on this board about fuel gauge problems. I agree with most of the replies that say check your ground first. I messed with my sending unit/wire/gauge for quite awhile before I bit the bullet and ordered a new gauge. It has worked fine since I installed it.
