After 2 years Lil' Red has finally got a heart!!!

Well it has to be at least two years from when I pulled the engine and started this project. Took her to the paint shop and she was there for what seemed to be forever. She been home now for a while as I've been putting in the stereo and finishing the interior. Engine was all done and just sitting on a stand waiting on my azzzzzz!.... So today was the day...She now has her new Heart!!!!

I picked rally's w/ Derby caps...that red is the Disc caliper showing through the rally wheel. Tires are new just dusty!!!

Re: After 2 years Lil' Red has finally got a heart!!!

Thanks Guys!!! Volt meter/battery terminal are by Raptor...off ebay. The positive side has a very small pos and neg wire to make it work...it's not hooked up yet but is real nice the way it's set up to accept 0-2 gauge wire and 4 gauge wire then two other spots to hook up smaller wire. Very nice terminals if you are running a powerful stereo amp.

Stunning - I like the silver A-arms, really brings out the color of the engine.

Glad to see it coming together. The time sure flies when you start to work on them and get a little side tracked. Like the contrast in the engine bay. Wootdog

LOL, I'm working on it every chance I get...sometimes not going to work when I should be working. My hopes are for it to more under it's own power by the end of summer. I have the brand new 700R4 trans sitting here and auto crossmember, that goes in next week. Then need the driveline shortened, seats bolted in finish wiring and turn the key. It will be a glorious day.

Thanks for all the kind comments!!!

Alex

Re: After 2 years Lil' Red has finally got a heart!!!

Contrast was created by painting everything that was black originally to Rustoleum Hammered Silver. I'm , ok, happy with it, just wish I would have taken the cab off and sent the frame and all the silver pieces out for powdercoating.

Hey that can be my next project after I get it back together,,, LOL!!!

good Call!!!! I wasn't happy the way the upper A arm was lining up on the Passenger side so I took it back apart. It will be back together next week.
