Frame mounts/motor mounts
Hello folks,
I am getting ready to drop in the 454 to replace the 327 and had a question about the mounts. I have the motor mounts for the BB, but do I have to change the frame mounts? They appear to be the same but looks can be deceiving. I don't want to find this out with the 454 hanging in the air. Thanks guys. |

Your small block ones will work just fine, I have done this as have others on the board.

Thanks BigBlock73. I just hope I have everything ready to go. Still need a new water pump and radiator schroud. I guess I could be BigBlock74 in a few days.
