Re: looking for 6 lug....

I looked @ the later 73-up style plain steel wheels when I was looking for 'wider' plain steelies because someone told me they were 8". But, they were 8" lip-to-lip, 7" @ the bead.

What is the lip-to-lip measurement of the wheels in your pic & what application did they come from (if not aftermarket)?

Re: looking for 6 lug....

from outside lip to outside lip they are 9, inside lip to inside lip they are 8. stamped on the wheel it reads 15x8. i believe these were 4x4 and im not sure what they came off of. im going to put them on a 2 wheel drive.

Re: looking for 6 lug....

They were an option in the next generation and are on all CUCV Blazers. They were and may still be available through a commercial wheel & Rim outfit. That`s who I got my 16.5s from,a Place in PA called Standard Wheel and Rim.I believe they were Kelsey-Hayes.

Re: looking for 6 lug....

That's cool. I remember looking high & low for some plain 15x8 steelies when I first got my 68 but couldn't find 8" & didn't want to spend the $ for aftermarket. I wound up swapping to 5-lug discs anyway w/6.5" 5-lug van ralleys & 8" truck ralleys.

Re: looking for 6 lug....
