Rear Cab Moulding ?
My 77 Bonanza does not have the Cab moulding since it is a sloid Mariner Blue truck and it was an option that most Bonanzas dont have . I bought a couple complete GM mouldings and want to install one on my truck . Is it something best taken to a body shop or does someone have a link to how to properly install one ? I need the measurements for the holes on the sides for sure . Would it be best to have the little T studs (welded on ) installed or is there another way to install the rear section ? Frank

The proper way would be to weld the studs onto the body, then add your clips and trim. I have heard of folks using sheetmetal screws (and clear RTV to seal them) to hold the clips on.

The corner mouldings fit with a bolt thru spring clip. And the rear cab moulding is a screw thru nylon clip. A trip to the local boneyard with a flat and phillips screwdriver a 3/8 & 5/16 socket and a tape measure would get you the clips and mounting dimensions.
Here's a cut of what you need.  Caution: The corner mouldings require a reach up behind the seat into the "B" column to access the nut on the spring clip. Good luck and send pics when done. - Dave
