Ok, should I do this.....

I acquired a '87 silverado 2wd 1/2 ton from the original owner, it pretty much has everything as far as options, cruise, efi 350, not sure on tranny yet. How hard would it for me to put the disc frontend in, install the efi 350 & newer tranny into my '70 2wd 1/2 ton? Are there any past posts, pics or other info on this? What about wiring, instrument panel hookup, any other details I may have missed? Thanks for all the advice and input. BTW, it is about time for a new motor for the '70.

The hardest part would be the wiring. Everything else, front cross member, tranny, engine, is an easy bolt in. Someone probably has a harness kit for doing this, I just don't know who.
