70 CST Omaha orange

Hey guys just picked up another 70 CST omaha orange truck. The truck was originaly orange body with a white roof, I'm considering painting it two tone in the middle white as well. Any feedback and aany picks of orange and white in both paint versions. thanks.

Re: 70 CST Omaha orange

I am considering the same colors on my truck. I really like the white top only because it is not seen as often. On a 70, another factory cst option was white top and white below the lower moulding, which is very cool also.

Here is a pic for ya.

I sure like the orange and white combo...especially Hugger Orange and Antique White.

I saw a orange and white truck coming down the hiway the other day,and it looked good mixed in with all the bland little MPG queens.

Re: 70 CST Omaha orange

For 69-70, I like the 2 tone scheme just like the one in the pic
Sameyrasmea72 provided.

Re: 70 CST Omaha orange

All these are either Hugger or Red/Orange.The Omaha Orange is the fleet truck color like some states, counties,or utilities use.Allied Van Lines and Asplundt Tree Service are a couple national companies that use it,lighter and brighter.Sillyoldman`s truck is a nice example of Omaha Orange./white in the deluxe two-tone.

Re: 70 CST Omaha orange

Prob not if the holes weren't already there. Looks fine with just the wide lower moulding IMO.
