Ken, well, it does still resemble our beloved small block since the valve covers are still visible ya know.

i have to agree with boog on this one. if i want a bunch of plastic covers and crap covering up my engine compartment i will just buy a late model vehicle. i like a little bit of chrome and some nice paint and detailing.

don't mistake the point. the reason i like it doesn't have anything to do with plastic or aluminum or whatever material you eye zooms in on. it's the appearance. the cleanliness. the simplicity. the rationale being that this chiseled, muscular form boldly hints at an extremely complex mechanical subsurface, yet isn't so presumptuously bragging as to show off all its bits. it's more of a deep growl than it is an all-out bark. just enough to show a few teeth. that's why i like it.

Interesting...how would that match up with the exterior of one of these trucks...it would have to be shaved clean and very modern as well to retain the theme. Go for it!
