'72 Chevy Pickup Pinstripe

I am about to finish a '72 Chevy Pickup Shortbed. The truck originally had a double white painted pinstripe from the factory. It was removed about 20 years ago in a repaint. I want to put it back on, but I don't know exactly where it goes on the truck. Can anyone help me?
Thanks

Re: '72 Chevy Pickup Pinstripe

I have duplicated the factory stripe the best I could on my truck.....there is a lot of inconsistency in the stripes from factory to factory and even truck to truck so nothing is etched in stone.....I took measurements from my original stripes that where still on my rusted original body panels....I can give you any measurements or pics that you need....let me know....here is my truck with the stripes.....they are painted on not pinstripe tape......Paul

I got some deminsions for you 8 1/2" down from the bottom of the door glass. Top stripe 3/16 1/2" space 1/8 bottom stripe. The front had a bullet shaped point that was about even with the side marker. lol Steve

Re: '72 Chevy Pickup Pinstripe

Thanks to all of you.
Elizabethton is about 8 miles from Johnson City and about 40 miles from Rogersville. We have a Cruise IN for classic cars and trucks every Saturday night from April to October in downtown Elizabethton.
