Cabfloor Q....
Hi all, I've been looking all over for a part to replace the part of the cab floor that is tied into the cab corner and the rocker panel and sits on the rear floor support. Surely someone else has had to replace this

I think they call that a dog leg. Did you check gmcpauls.com or mothertrucker.com or calssic industries.

Re: Cabfloor Q....
If you are referring to that section of floor just inside the cab corner, I had to make my own piece for that area. I think I used some of the cutoffs from the front floor pan, bent it to shape and welded it in, no tough to do. They might make a piece for this area, but I didn't find it when I ordered my new metal.

Re: Cabfloor Q....
I suggest that you work installing the other replacement pieces first, and by the time you get to this back floor piece you will certainly have the skills to cut and shape the right chunk of metal!

Re: Cabfloor Q....
You can get this for $299.95
But if you floor is really gone it might save you some work. Its a newer product offering from this year from Goodmark Industries. http://www.goodmarkindustries.com/HomePage.html

Re: Cabfloor Q....
The lower pic in Green Machines post is the part you are looking for: rear cab floor patch. It is missing in the pic below, waiting to be welded in. I mistakedly got them from LMC, and they were as thin as tin foil. Got a new pair from GMC Paul and they were heavier gage. The passengers side has the indentation for the jack to rest in.

Re: Cabfloor Q....
I pieced mine together with 14 ga. scrap steel. Worked like a charm.
