Cool help

I Have A 73 Gmc And When I Turn The Head Lighs On My Gas Gauge Drops Down To Empty Then When I Turn It Off It Starts Back Working Can Some One Help Me Out well i find out that it happens when i turn my dash light on or turn light from dem to bright

i have a similar thing- when i turn on my flashers, my temp gauge bounces around on every flash. It's only the flashers, not on regular turn signals.

normally bad grounds cause these problems, but hard to say.

Have you checked grounds or anything? (note: if you pull your cluster and have cruise, unhook the cable from the cruise switch. I found that out the hard way so right now my speedometer is working with electrical tape...)
