I Had A Dream!!
ok... more like a vision.. I have the complete layout for the 71..
It will be lowered on 16's with 255-50's in the front and 275-50 in the rear.. it will have a 6/8 drop.. It will have the 700r4... the truck will be black on black with white highlights on the interior and body.. It will have cleared lights all around, and a molded rear sleek bumper It will have a chevy 350 with twin turbo set to boost about 14 PSI (7psi per turbo) with 2 side mount intercoolers.. The motor will come from a FI camero or corvette.. ~~which ever is more convienent to get.~~ this is just a vision, and I dont have any pictures yet.. I cant draw to save my life, so this is what I got........... anyways.. this is my vision, and I hope to have it come true soon... |

Re: I Had A Dream!!
Sounds like a beauty to me! We all need a plan/vision of some sort, and it usually changes as it goes. But in the end you will always wind up with something you like!

Re: I Had A Dream!!
You need to preface that statement with..."money is no object...I have a vision!" Been there...got a glimpse of the future, turned around and went back to stock...LOL! I would love to see it and hear it run when you get it done!

Twin turbo's and intercoolers....I think you'll need to have a bank heist right after that dream of your"s!!!
But.....If there is a will there is a way. Love to see your vision/set up... a reality! |

Re: I Had A Dream!!

Re: I Had A Dream!!
so, after opening the side tank doors, I noticed that they were full of rust.. hmmm time to pull them out, and fill the hole.. this was from the right side...
I will get better pics tomorrow with the welds all cleaned and ready for the filler and primer.. I have decided to use dimond plate for the flooring.. just because it will look better.. I got the rocker panels yesterday (ups is like christmas, even though it is stuff I paid for.. lol) |

Re: I Had A Dream!!
Looks more like a rude awakening.Been there, done that. The reality is,you need to start with a decent solid foundation, then build your dream.Unless it`s something you don`t drive. Then, just tear it down and go back up the way you want it.Expect a couple few years for that, unless you`re independantly wealthy and have all the time in the world. It`s great to see your progress, keep it up.Without a dream it`ll never happen. You`re runnin`with the dogs, not sittin`on the porch. That`s the difference.
