Oil pressure gauge reducer nut... - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

It's the reducer nut that screws in the top of the back of the block that the oil pressure line weird azz compression nut screws into. I've been all over toting my oil pressure line around asking for it...no one says they have anything close???

I think the threads going in the block are 1/8" MPT and then this compression fitting goes inside. Dealer???

I went to the dealer and they told me to look in some old wooden drawers in a corner of the parts room. I found 4 of them and they said to take them away for free as they no longer had any use for them. Try a dealer, maybe they will have them. Good Luck.

Go to the hardware store and get a compression fitting with 1/8" pipe threads. Should not be hard to get.

I have done that....but would like to have the original fitting if I can find it.
