Vin plate star rivets?
I took the vin plate off the drivers door pillar before the Jimmy was media blasted. Now that the truck is finally painted I need to put it back on. Ive been told you cant get the 'star' rivets that were on there originally (something to do with denying car theives the ability to change Vin numbers). Is this so? Does anyone have these... or... what have others done?

There are a couple of board members here that have a few, and sell them occasionally. You may want to post a "WTB" on the parts board.
