Finally Got My 2wd Blazer

Well, I finally found the elusive 2wd Blazer close to home. Some of you might have seen it on Ebay awhile back. I actually struck a deal outside of Ebay. Its a 1972 GMC Jimmy with a blazer clip, original 2wd, ps, pb, no a/c and overall pretty decent condition. Only downside to this is that I must sell my 68 Short Fleet to fund this project. I will have it posted soon with plenty of pics. I also have some Goodmark sheet metal that will go as well.

Picture shows new Blazer and my newer model equivlent 2dr Tahoe.

sorry, pics too large. Will add asap. Any tips on reducing pic size?

Open them with paintbrush and reduce by 50% (stretch/skew).

Microsoft photo editor makes it simple. It might even be on your computer already. If you have it click on edit, then resize and click on the drop down menu to resize.

Lookin' good. Pop the top and roll in the sun! For those wonderful Orlando summer thundershowers, ya may want a soft top. (White looks good with the Orange).

ttt

I will definately put some more pics up asap. It's a little rough around the edges, but thats the only way I can afford em. Gonna start with driveabilty and make sure it's a solid driver. Suspensions a little loose and 307 with the 2brl is a little tired. I might be forced to throw a BB in there

Jeff, all 3 of those trucks are killer. I've always loved the OBS 2-door hoe's. Those are climbing in value like crazy. I'd hold onto it if you can. Your blazer is sick looking. You've GOT to try and make it out to Denny's tomorrow night. I guarantee that thing will get lots of attention. Let me know if you can. I drive up from Stonefield in Kissimmee. Eric said his aunt lives in the same neighborhood as me so you may know where that is. Anyways, hope you can make it.

Re: Finally Got My 2wd Blazer

It is a factory 2wd. Only made them from 96-99. I had to look for quite awhile before I found this one. I've had it for about 6 years now and probably for keep it for along time. It's been a great daily driver even with the drop and 20's. Thanks for the comment Jeff
