Help with bolting up gas tank
I have my gas tank in position, all ready to bolt the straps up. How do I get the nuts on here? I assume on one side the bolts go through the straps, through the tank flange, and into the frame right? And then the other side the j hooks go through the strap, through the tank flange, and into the frame.
Well once I get the bolts and j hooks through the frame I have no way to get the nut on the other side of it. I think I am doing something stupid here, just not sure what.

Re: Help with bolting up gas tank
This is my '71 Blazer 4x4 with factory tank and mounting as far as I know. Nothing goes through the flange on the tank.
Driver's side has bolts and nuts which come down through the frame rails. Passenger's side has threaded rods integral to the tank straps. Does this help? I can get more if you need it.
