Info and Pic request. Fuel cell plumbing.
I have a fuel cell (plastic) that came with a parts truck. Cell is new but does not have the fittings with it. I think the outlet is -8 and the vent or return is -6. I have never dealt with AN fittings before. Can someone post up a pic of how to hook up to the cell AND tie into the stock fuel line? This is on my 71 C/10 w/350. I am running a mechanical pump. ANY and ALL info would be greatly appreciated. Also, let me know where you put the cell. I thought about under the bed, but I'm not sure how safe it would be back there being plastic.

Re: Info and Pic request. Fuel cell plumbing.
You should be able to get a -8 compression fitting to go to the fuel cell, then run enough hard line to where you need to tie into the factory hard line, then use another compression fitting with a barbed hose fitting. Or, you could just flair the end of the hard line ran from the tank and slip the rubber hose over it. The flair, along with the hose clamp, would keep it from slipping off.
Or, put a fitting on the stock line and flair it. Then have a hose made up with the -8 on one end, and a matching fitting to the one installed on the factory line put on the other end.
