Talking Re: Progress made on Jumpin Jimmy

We made that BBC roar on Monday night for the first time.
We are working out the 4 wheel disc brakes now the fronts work fine but the rears still need some bleeding.

On Tuesday we fired it up again got the electric fans working put it in grear on the lift and the wheels go round and round with no funny noises. Hope to have it cleaned up for some new pics this weekend. The interior guy is coming tonight to pickup the bench seat and get it recovered I told him to make me something that will match the headliner to put behind the seat where the gas tank used to be.

We have been working on this project now for almost 5 years and I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I will try to keep everyone updated now that we are in the short rows....lol

Re: Progress made on Jumpin Jimmy

I'm ready to mount my outside rear view mirrors but I have scraped out the old doors and my mirrors didn't come with a template. Can some of you guys post up some pics or send them to hambone1958@yahoo.com so I can figure out where they go.

Thanks,
