I pulled this from a 79 chevy van. Seems tight and overall good condition. And of course, no key in it like a truck. Asking $125 plus shipping without the wheel. $20 plus shipping on the wheel.

Andy, It is either a boomerang that doesn't come back, A wookalar, or the blade off my push mower!!! I assume that is what you were asking about!

I would think there is a way, but i am sure it will be some work. Let me know if you want it, and if you want to pick it up here, you can have the wheel with it...

Pull the shift lever, grind off the lever mount and fill it with JB Weld. Then you can use primer and filler to smooth it out.

I guessed 30lbs on the weight, so I am guessing $25-$30 shipping. That is UPS. Does the tilt and everything work, is there anything wrong with the colum, anything missing.

Just curious but why would they put a keyless colum in a 79 van and not the pickups? When did they quit making keyless colum?

They continued the old column... just becouse. The van was a very long carry over, year after year, so they did minimal upgrades.
81 is the last year, I have found one in an 82, but it was either a freak thing, or Iam mistaken, becouse I have never seen one since.
The column will ship way cheaper than that. I shipped one sans wheel, from here to southern TN and shipping was like, 8 bucks with DHL.

The shaft is there up to the rag joint. There is nothing wrong with the column that i can see. The easiest shipping for me is ups or usps. There is a fed-ex in town but i have not used them. I will try to find out more shipping stuff in the next day or 2. Eric
