Question Saddle tank wire harness Qs

Last year I parted out a 76 4x4 GMC and saved the saddle tank (drivers side). This year I have finally got around to installing it on my cousin's 79 GMC dually. Had to drill some new mounting holes but that was no big deal. I saved the dash switch and harness but forgot to label the wires.

Coming out ot the switch to firewall plug harness is a pink/w black stripe wire. Where does that hook up to?

From the firewall to tank plug there is a bluish-green that hooks into the drivers tank sender. What I have left is:
1 brown
1 brown w/ white stripe
1 green

Where do these hook in? One of them must go to the tank switching unit, another might go to the Pass side tank. That still leaves me with a 3rd wire.

Thanks, ~B

Re: Saddle tank wire harness Qs

I've posted this before (for a '83 model).

The wiring for the fuel tank selector valve:

Pink/Black = Right Tank Sending Unit.
Pink/White = Left Tank Sending Unit.
Pink = Tank Sending Unit wired to the bulkhead connector going to the Fuel Gauge.
Light Green = Right Selector Switch
Dark green = Left Selector Switch

On the fuel tank selector switch:
Pink = Ignition Power wired to Fuse Box
Pink/Black = Ground wired to Bus Bar

Hope this helps.
